The main mode of transmitting this infection is through sexual intercourse among other ways. The origin of the virus is still a mystery with many theories arising. Some believe that it first originated from the primates specifically the monkeys. Most people fear this deadly virus especially because it has no cure. However, drugs have been developed to assist fight the virus from causing more harms in the body. HIV has several stages which lead to the weakening of the white blood cells and eventually this leads creation of AIDS and finally succumbing of the victim. The final stage is referred as full brown. There have been several laws stipulating on how the victims of the HIV positive should be treated. For instance, one is not supposed to test for HIV as part of job interview as this would lead to influence o n how the employer will treat the particular individual. In spite of this, People with HIV should reveal their status to the world for the purposes of avoiding further infection of the disease (Hays et al 425)DISCUSSIONVictims, who suffer this virus, are easily accepted by the world when they reveal about their status. The circumstances under which the society discovers people with HIV can be tough. Some of the victims continue to be promiscuous even when they discover they are positive this leads to further spread. At this point the infected ones spread the virus unknowingly. The few individuals who have come out brave and declared that they are infected receives better treatment than the ones who disguise themselves as healthy as a result of using the ARVS. Society learns to accept the victims who have HIV by treating them better. Friends and family tend to show love in most of the cases and encourage the loved one to eat healthy as this normally translates to living of many ye ars while one is still positive. This is the best way of the victims receiving such positive feedback from the next of kin and the world at large. (Hays et al 427).People who reveal their HIV status prevents their chances of landing in jail. In all the states it is illegal to infect others knowingly and when one is proven in court and found guilty to have slept with other people consciously and thus transmitting the virus, the victim could serve a couple of years in prison. This law was mainly passed because there are some people who are born positive and out of frustration and even when they are well aware of their status they have unprotected sex with their future partners out of arrogance and ignorance, since they have lived with virus from a tender age and thus transmitting the virus is nearly impossible. Therefore, letting their partner aware of their situation leads to clear understanding of what both the partners stand on sexual intercourse s .Hence this creates more trus t and boosts the confidence and self-esteem of the victim as they feel they have a normal life with their spouses still standing by their side(Deng et al 662).Sharing about HIV status leads to better and enhanced care by the victimà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬s medical providers. HIV weakens the body and open the way for the infection of other disease such as tuberculosis, colds, and constant headache. This effects are because, the cells responsible for fighting of infections and providing the body with immunity it requires to fight the diseases is destroyed by the viruses. Consequently, when the victims tell their doctors they are positive. The doctors are able to recommend the healthy living styles that the individuals should adapt so they boost their white cells and in turn they can fight the common infections such as cold which could lead to the death of the individuals carrying the incurable virus. The medical care are in a better position to explain and handle the infection arising as a result of the virus this is good news to the victims as they add more days to their existence since certainly their demise is assured and only a matter of time before it catches up with them(Deng et al 661) .People with HIV stand the chance of gaining emotional and practical support when they tell others about their status.
